The weather this summer has been pretty ropey to say the least, so what better to do than hide away in the house with a cup of tea and Netflix. Netflix has been one of those worthwhile investments, its a pretty reasonable price i think, there are SO many things to watch on there! If you are stuck for something to watch I have picked a few of my top faves to share with you!
Pretty Little Liars
GOT A SECRET, CAN YOU KEEP IT...I think it is pretty obvious that i love this show. It is mentioned in far too many blog posts - oops! It is just one of those shows that i got totally sucked into instantly. I could rematch these episodes over and over. Im in a little bit of a meltdown over the fact we have to wait till next year for new episodes. Season 6 mid season finale was tense to say the least. Now we know who Charles/A is i feel like i've lost a bit of my soul. If you want to watch a show that will confuse you for 6 and half seasons and cause you sleepless nights - this is the one!
House
This has always been one of those programmes that i would randomly watch if it was one TV but never watched properly from the the start, so decided to whip myself into shape and start it properly. Im about half way through Season 2 now and i am actually really enjoying this. I've always been a medicine kind of girl, i grew up watching Casualty from about age 6 so this was a good find for me. I know some people don't enjoy the show as they find House himself really dull and boring but there is definitely method behind the madness. He is absolutely hilarious in my opinion; i feel like we are really similar in some ways! If you are into medical dramas then i think you'll really enjoy this!
Pirates of the Caribbean
I am a massive Johnny Depp fan (as most people are well aware). I grew up watching these films and my excitement for POTC:Dead Men Tell No Tales is out of this world. I was never a Disney Prince kind of girl, i was in love with a pirate. Whenever I'm having a bit of a rubbish day this is always one of the films on my to watch list. Captain Jack Sparrow is my one and only. It is definitely one of my favourite JD characters, there is so much heart and sole put into this character and it really shows! If you haven't seen any of these films i HIGHLY recommend them, I am hooked!
Orphan Black
I came across this series about 2 months ago and i was really surprised at how much i got into it. I whizzed through Season 1&2 on Netflix and then had to search the internet to try and find somewhere to watch Season 3. It is definitely not what you would expect it to be. It is very clever and there are so many twists and turns. Tatiana Maslany is an outstanding actress. She plays so many different characters in this series and you would never guess that they were done by the same person. There is talks of Season 4 and i REALLY hope this is true! I need more of this show in my life!
Prison Break
I've only recently started watching this, and by recently i mean like 2 days ago and now 2 episodes into Season 2. I have been binge watching this like there is no tomorrow. I love it - it is so clever! Can't believe this came out so long ago and i never watched it. I feel like such a fool. I am really enjoying this series, although I'm not that far into it yet. It is making me slightly worried though that i am nowhere near smart enough to ever come up with a plan like that - best get my thinking cap on!
