There is nothing more exciting than a delivery right? The other morning the postman finally brought my Amazon parcel. YAY FOR BOOKS!
In this little order i picked up 4 new books. I feel like summer is when i really channel my inner Hermoine and i just bury myself in books. I think this works to my advantage, living in England doesn't always mean that we actually get any sun despite it being 'Summer'. All of these books are now on the top of my reading list and will all have their own review coming very soon, so keep an eye out for those if any of these take your fancy!
Just What Kind Of Mother Are You? - Paula Daly
No family is perfect.
A husband, three children and a full-time job, so many plates to keep spinning.
No wonder you forgot you were supposed to be looking after your friend's daughter.
But no one has seen her since yesterday.
And she's not the first to go missing from your small town.
So who's hiding something?
The Accident - C. L. Taylor
You took my child. Now i'll take yours...
Sue Jackson has the perfect family but when her teenage daughter Charlotte deliberately steps in front of a bus and ends up in a coma she has to face a very dark reality.
Retracting her daughter's steps she finds a horrifying entry in Charlotte's diary and is forced to head deep into her daughter's private world. In her hunt to discover the truth, Sue begins to mistrust everyone close to her and is compelled to delve into the murky depths of her own past.
Sue will do anything to protect her daughter. But what if she is the real reason that Charlotte is in danger?
One Step Too Far - Tina Seskis
'An apparently happy marriage. A beautiful son. A lovely home.
Yet one morning Emily Coleman was up and walks right out of her life. What makes her do it? How i will she survive? And, no matter how hard she tries, can she ever really say goodbye to her past?'
Emily has a secret. No-one has ever guessed it. Will you?
Fantastic Beasts & Where To Find Them - JK Rowling
'A copy of Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them resides in almost every wizarding household in the country. Now Muggles too have the chance to discover where the Quintaped lives, what the Puffskein eats and why it is best not to leave milk out for a Knarl.
Proceeds from the sale of this book will go to Comic Relief, which means that the pounds and Galleons you exchange for it will do magic beyond the powers of any wizard. If you feel that this is insufficient reason to part with your money, I can only hope that passing wizards feel more charitable if they see you being attacked by a Manticore.
