Dear diary...
I am currently sitting in the kitchen of our villa in Tenerife with a cold glass of orange aquarius, looking for puppies online. I WANT A POMCHI. Yep, living the high life. I have been in Tenerife since Tuesday evening and it is now Sunday afternoon. Its SUPER hot out here at the minute and its a little bit unbearable at times, hence why i am sitting inside. I have already got slightly burnt which is just hella annoying and i need to try keep my new tattoo covered as much as i can, HELLO FACTOR 50!
I might go retreat to my balcony or to the pool in a littlewhile. Thank god there is a breeze today! Although i am a bit annoyed...basically i brought 'The Girl On The Train' with me as my holiday book and i finished it in 2 days. I did bring another, 'Keep Your Friends Close' with me but I'm finding it really hard to get into it. I suppose i shall just have to listen to the The Bodyguard Musical Soundtrack on repeat which is fine by me. Time to get my Rachel on...
I must admit though, i am far too excited to go to Ikeatomorrow. We are replacing some of the furniture in the house and just giving it a little TLC. It gets rented out throughout the year when we are not using it so things just need replaced and tidied up at the minute. I am obsessed with homeware and decorating. We went to a little Spanish homeware store yesterday...it was sort of like B&Q minus all the building stuff...maybe more like Homebase! If i had my own way and could somehow ship all the things i found back home for free, i definitely would have come out with bundles of towels, bedding, furniture and about 10 lights! Everything just seems to much more authentic over here.
I had the most random idea of wanting to open up a Cat Cafe the other night and ever since then i feel like all i keep seeing is loads of cats wandering about and cat homeware stuff. I feel like i need to look into this...
I feel kind of bad that i am excited to go home on Friday morning. I miss my little doggy SO SO much!! Its so lonely without him bouncing around my feet all day! (one good thing about going home though, is i won't be able to mass consume anymore Cheetos!)
