Blogmas for me kind of failed the other day. I was doing so well but I totally forgot that I had no posts scheduled and I went away for a few days. I did keep a little diary sort of thing of it all so I thought I would share that with you today!
Wednesday 9th
Okay, so today I got up early (something I never do), and had a little pre-birthday present opening morning with my mum. I had literally an hour and a half before I had to leave the house to drive up to Manchester. Yep, a 4 hour drive!
The drive actually wasn't THAT bad. Well, I mean after 4 hours of singing very loudly you do start to get sick of hearing yourself. I was glad to be out of the car at the other end! Once I got there I had to find my friend Angie who came down from Glasgow. Turns out Manchester is a lot bigger than I thought and REALLY busy!
Quick trip to the hotel to check in and get changed and off we went to explore the Arndale Centre and the Christmas markets! All very festive and cute. Basically just killing time until 7pm when it was time to head to the Palace Theatre for The Bodyguard - which as always was AMAZING!
I also met Tristan Gemmill again! - former Frank Farmer in the West End, Casualty and Corrie star! I honestly nearly fainted!!
If you live in/near Manchester the show is there till the 9th January so get your tooth down there and see it, you won't regret it!!
WOO! Im officially another year older! I turned 20 on Thursday which is rather exciting!
Started off the day with a new tattoo - I am in love with it! Love our Al! Then we went to the Trafford Centre to see Mockingjay P2, second time i've seen it and it was even more amazing this time round!! Literally the most amazing shopping centre I have ever been too, its mahoooooosive!
Another quick trip back to the hotel, to start getting ready and get the pre drinks going! Safe to say by the time we got to the theatre to see The Bodyguard again, I was a little bit tipsy! The show was even better tonight than it was last night! We showed Alex our new tattoos after the show and she absolutely loved them. We hit Village afterwards and I finally met my Twitter friend who i've known for 5 years!! The rest of the night after that is very hazy!
I can not explain this day in any way other than HANGING. I was hanging out of my arse and I had a 4 hours drive back to Hertfordshire. I literally went to hell and back. I survived the drive - santa hat at the ready just incase I had to be sick...again, oops!
Saturday 12th
Probably the most boring day. Catching up on Gogglebox and attempting to unpack all my stuff from Manchester. Still feeling slightly fragile I spent most of the day in bed. I watched Ice Princess which I haven't seen in AGES and oh god I just love it! Makes me want to become a figure skater!
